Dan Aux
About
Dan Aux is one of New Zealand’s most versatile DJs, bringing together house, tech house, bass-driven sounds and drum & bass in sets built around energy, musical instinct and reading the crowd.
A fixture of Aotearoa’s dance music scene, the Australian-born, Auckland-based DJ, producer and radio host spent 16 years on George FM, hosting the influential George Selectah Show, before launching Curated by Dan Aux on ZM. He has also taken his sound to international radio audiences through Diplo’s Revolution on SiriusXM.
A favourite on the festival and club circuit across New Zealand and Australia, Dan’s performance history includes Rhythm & Vines, Homegrown and Sounds On, alongside support slots for some of electronic music’s biggest names.
Behind the decks, he brings the same versatility into the studio. His production credits include collaborations with P-Money, Kings, Scribe, Tiki Taane, Ed Waaka and Raiza Biza, while his releases and remixes have earned support from global dance music heavyweights including Tiësto and Martin Garrix. His remix of Gotye and Kimbra’s Somebody That I Used to Know has surpassed two million Spotify streams.
With a catalogue spanning club-ready house, bass-driven anthems and crossover electronic productions, Dan Aux delivers a seasoned, crowd-focused sound that moves comfortably between festival stages, clubs and late-night dance floors.
