Serpnt

Sam Serpnt is a UK-born Drum & Bass artist currently based in Amsterdam. Known as one half of the acclaimed duo ZeroZero, Sam has built a strong reputation in the scene with releases on some of the genre’s most respected labels. Now focusing on his solo project, Serpnt is carving out a distinct sound with music on CIA Records, Sofa Sound, Dispatch Recordings, LoveForLowFrequencies, and more.

Blending dark atmospheres with rolling funk-driven grooves, his productions have gained support from leading figures in Drum & Bass including Ed Rush, Noisia, DJ Marky, Doc Scott, Jubei, Skeptical, Nymfo, DLR, Total Science, and London Elektricity.

Beyond the studio, Serpnt has performed across Europe, appearing at renowned events and venues such as Outlook Festival, Fabric London, Melkweg Amsterdam, Amsterdam Dance Event, and CIA vs Symmetry at Volks Brighton, among many others.

Alongside his DJ and production work, Sam has also been a resident sound designer for Loopmasters and recently launched his own imprint OneZero Samples, releasing sample packs from some of the scene’s rising talents.

With collaborations alongside artists including Nymfo, Wingz, Minor Forms, Brain, Dunk, MC Gusto, Hijak MC, Leks, and Silloh, and regular appearances on platforms such as Rinse FM, Sofa Sound Mixing Bowl, and the CIA Declassified mix series, Serpnt continues to push forward with a steady stream of forward-thinking Drum & Bass.
